My biography
For over 26 years, David has successfully held roles within businesses that leverage technology and people to achieve optimal results. He consults with small, medium, and large companies on business development, talent acquisition, and business model innovation. He has a strong passion for seeing more diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace – especially in the tech industry. That passion has led him to focus on the executive search industry.
When he isn’t building his business, David loves teaching technology and business topics as an adjunct college instructor and faculty member. He has spent over 17 years teaching adults coming back to school to earn their degrees. David has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management and is finishing a MA in Human Resource Management at Concordia University – St. Paul. He has worked for several companies in the Twin Cities area including Andersen Windows and Doors, The National Marrow Donor Program, Best Buy, Imation Corporation, Smead Manufacturing, and Ambient Consulting.
David organized and led several of our supplier development and entrepreneur training at MEDA. He was absolutely sensational. He provided in depth knowledge and business guidance to emerging entrepreneurs and truly helped put them in a position to grow and better yet scale their companies.
His dedication and commitment to MEDA Entrepreneurs was unparalleled. He worked tirelessly, showed up in the evening hours and provided ongoing “office hours” when he was needed. He was truly an integral part of the success of more than one program we had at the time. David is highly organized, his skill set is broad, yet relevant and he has a great deal of real-world expertise as a business-builder himself. We were so fortunate to have engaged him, more than one time to support our business owners.
David is truly an asset to any initiative he sets his sights on. I’m very grateful for his work.
